July 21, 2025

Introduction to Ski Rentals

Ski rentals offer a convenient way to enjoy skiing without the long-term commitment of purchasing equipment, storing the equipment off-season, and transporting the equipment to different ski destinations. Renting skis allows you to try out different ski types, such as demo skis or premium skis, to find the best fit for your skill level and snow conditions. Aloha Ski and Snowboard Rentals provides a wide range of equipment, including skis, boots, poles, and helmets, catering to beginner skiers, intermediate skiers, and advanced skiers. Rentals prices start at competitive rates, making it accessible for individuals and families to rent skis and enjoy the slopes. Our Park City ski rentals are available at various locations, including several in Canyons Village, at the base of Park City Mountain Resort, and in Main Street Park City.

Types of Ski Rentals

Seasonal rentals are ideal for frequent skiers who want to secure their gear for the entire season, offering a cost-effective solution for all mountain skiers. At Aloha, we offer seasonal rentals for kids, which we call the Kids Club. This is a great cost effective rental option for kids because they are constantly growing. Daily rentals provide flexibility for those who ski occasionally or want to try out different skis, including high-performance skis and versatile skis. Juniors skis and snowboards are available for young skiers and snowboarders. All-mountain skis allow skiers to experience the latest gear and technology, helping intermediate skiers improve their performance. High-performance demo skis offer advanced features and materials for improved stability and performance on challenging terrain. Not sure what a demo ski is? That’s okay, head over to our friends at Virgin Islands Ski Rentals' article dedicated to all things Demo and learn more. All of our packages include boots, skis, and poles.

Ski Rental Rates and Packages

Rental rates in Park City vary depending on the type of equipment, duration, and location, with prices starting from around $30 per day for basic skis. Packages that include skis, ski boots, and poles can range from $30 to $100 per day, depending on whether you select standard or premium skis. Aloha offers this package ranging from $50 to $70 per day, offering a convenient and cost-effective solution for skiers. Seasonal rentals for our Kid’s Club can cost between $180 to $230, depending on the equipment, providing a great option for frequent youth skiers. Many rental shops offer discounts for advance bookings, students, military, and kids, making it more affordable for families and individuals to rent skis.

Ability Level and Equipment

Here are some factors to consider when selecting skis and snowboards that are right for you: Ski ability level. Your ski ability level is the most important factor when selecting gear. There is gear specifically designed for beginners, intermediate, and advanced skiers and riders.

Beginner skiers can benefit from renting skis with a softer flex and easier turning, such as versatile skis, to help them progress on groomed trails. This type of ski is listed as “Silver” on our website. Intermediate skiers may prefer skis with a medium flex and better edge hold to improve their performance on varied terrain. Depending on the comfortability and ability of the skier, this option could be “Silver” or “Gold” on our website. Advanced skiers can opt for high-performance skis with a stiffer flex and advanced features, such as demo skis, to tackle challenging terrain and terrain parks. We would match this skier with our “Gold” option.

Snowboards are also available for rent, with options for beginner, intermediate, and advanced riders, including Burton snowboards. Aloha offers expert advice to help you choose the right equipment for your ability level and skiing style.

Rental Process and Services

The rental process typically involves selecting your equipment, getting fitted, and paying for your rental, with many shops offering a smooth and efficient experience. Many shops, like Aloha, offer additional services, such as ski tuning, waxing, and edge sharpening, to keep your equipment in top condition. Aloha also offers delivery and drop-off services, making it convenient to rent skis and snowboards without having to visit the shop. We also offer overnight storage for equipment such as skis and poles. Boots and helmets stay with the customer, we’ve found that it’s easier that way. Reservations can be made online or over the phone, allowing you to secure your equipment in advance, saving time and money.
